Abstract

The research project “ADHD in adulthood, the hidden disorder” investigates concentration performance, possible effects on well-being, and self-assessment in adults with ADHD in three individual studies. The term attention-deficit disorder can easily lead to misunderstandings and erroneous conclusions regarding the manifestation and complexity of the disorder. Addressing ADHD therefore requires in-depth theoretical knowledge of the disorder, which is described at the beginning of this work.
