Abstract
It has not yet been clarified whether auditory processing and perception disorders (APD) can be distinguished from attention disorders with or without hyperactivity (ADHD). Using retrospectively collected data, this study analyzed the extent to which parents who presented their children to the outpatient clinic for phoniatrics and pediatric audiology for assessment of auditory processing and perception reported only APD symptoms or also ADHD symptoms in their children.
