Abstract

A systematic review of explanatory and change models reveals substantial inconsistency in the findings, and no integrative meta-model serving as a basis for systematic interventions has yet emerged. As a first step, we therefore attempted to organize the heterogeneous findings within a modification of Antonovsky's salutogenesis model and to derive guiding ideas for targeted interventions. In several pilot studies, we pursued the implementation and evaluation of interventions that also take into account the disorder-specific feature of conspicuous movement behavior.
