Assessment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder in adults

Abstract

In adults affected by ADHD, the persistent disorder gives rise to a wide range of issues in assessments relating to criminal, social, and civil law, civil service and severe disability law, road traffic law, and military service obligations. These problems result from the core symptoms of ADHD, such as inattention, overactivity, and impulsivity, but especially from the wide range of comorbidities.
