Conners Scales of Attention and Behavior −3

Abstract

The Conners scales are self- and informant-report questionnaires for describing and assessing ADHD and possible comorbid disorders; the instrument can be used for individuals aged six to 18 years. The original scales were published by Conners in 2008 and adapted by Lidzba, Christiansen, and Drechsler (2013). Altogether, the collection contains 11 forms of different lengths and a corresponding number of scoring and profile sheets. Four problem-assessment strategies are provided: long and short versions for parents, teachers, and the affected individuals themselves (children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 years); an ADHD Index, i.e. a very short questionnaire for parents, teachers, and children/adolescents; and a Global Index available in parent and teacher versions. The materials also include a manual (545 pages, of which 271 pages comprise the appendix, primarily norm tables). The collection further contains an overview card summarizing the steps for scoring and interpreting the long and short versions; the card also provides a brief description of these questionnaire versions (number of items, maximum allowable number of missing responses). All materials are supplied in a box.
