Abstract

Can children who have a hyperkinetic disorder at age eight be distinguished from those who are unaffected on the basis of organic and psychosocial risk burden, psychopathological symptoms, cognitive, motor, and neurological developmental status, and parenting conditions assessed in infancy? Are such precursors of hyperkinetic disorders specific to this group of disorders?
