Abstract
Motor deficits can be demonstrated clinically and neurophysiologically in children with ADHD. Because many of these children are referred to practitioners of manual medicine for a wide variety of reasons, an occasionally claimed causal relationship between ADHD symptoms and manual-medicine-defined functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system is of interest. In this neurophysiological study (transcranial magnetic stimulation), a defined sample of 13 children with ADHD underwent manual-medicine examination and was compared with a control group.
