Chaos and control – counseling for adults with ADD
(2008)

Abstract
Professional opinion on ADD is not uniform. In particular, there are controversial arguments regarding its etiology and treatment. The specialist literature has expanded almost explosively, and the volume of compiled material is confusing and difficult to survey. From the wide range of available information, this paper examines and filters what may be relevant and helpful in psychosocial counseling for affected adults. A particular concern is to help clients identify and mobilize resources through appropriate counseling, therapeutic, and social-law information and support.
