Effects of behavior-orientated parent training for children with ADHD – A single case study

Abstract

It is accepted that parent training is an effective intervention for prevention of behavior problems in childhood. A single case design was used and data were analyzed by effect size. Impact of parent training on children´s behavior at home and in school was measured repeatedly; weekly effects of implementation were checked systematically. According to the parent´s and teacher´s responses, the treatment has a significant effect on children´s behavior at home and in school.
