Abstract
The diagnostic criteria for aggressive behavior are presented, with particular emphasis on family conditions contributing to its development in early childhood and primary-school age. The goals and specific therapeutic procedures are described in detail, with behavioral therapy involving the child and family at the center of the discussion. Finally, the effectiveness of the approach and the durability of treatment effects are discussed.
