Abstract
The TEA-Ch is the German adaptation, with partial restandardization, of the “Test of Everyday Attention for Children” developed in Australia, a psychometric test for assessing various attention functions in children and adolescents across six norm groups aged 6 to 15 years 11 months. Two parallel test versions, A and B, are available, divided into nine subtests that assess selective attention (2 subtests), sustained attention (5 subtests), and attentional control (2 subtests); precise information on constructing an attention profile is lacking. Full administration takes approximately 60 minutes or longer, while a short version that provides “a rough estimate of performance in each attention domain” (p. 11) is correspondingly shorter. The test is administered individually. The test kit consists of the manual, record forms, test materials, and an audio CD.
